At 15 Jenny was discovered by the one and only talent scout and international modeling agent; Kelly Streit. Her life forever changed as she went from a small town country farm girl to a globe trotting International Model. Traveling the world at 15 on her own to Japan was an unparalleled adventure needless to say, and so the journey began of discovering the world of travel, fashion, and a whole lot of growing up overnight!! She transitioned from a tomboy athletic farm girl life to living in major cities like Milan, Hamburg, Sydney, Tokyo, and many more, then eventually moving to NYC where Jenny based for the majority of her career. Jenny was always an athlete from the beginning so with her dream of pursuing sports at the highest level, she decided to make the dream of combining her love of sports with fashion modeling come true... and decided to pursue being a professional triathlete. Jenny has had a very lucrative career with multiple covers, and is still going strong. Check out her photo page for more on her modeling life.
BOOM!!! In 2010 Jenny achieved her dream of becoming a professional triathlete!! It complemented her career of modeling as she managed to grace multiple magazine covers like Runners World, LAVA, Fitness, and many more. Jenny also became the face of many global campaign and is most known for being the face of Oakley Women's Global Campaign for a few years.
Her first victory and what legitimized everything was in 2012 as she crossed the tape to take the win in the Half Ironman in Branson, Missouri. Other highlights include winning Israman in 2017 another Half distance and completing her first full distance triathlon (Ironman) in Roth, Germany finishing 10th in 9:36 at Challenge Roth. Jenny had multiple top 5 and 10 finishes during her career. In 2019 she decided it was time to focus on the next adventure of coaching. However with coaching, came the lure of racing again so Jenny once again fired up the routine of prepping for Challenge Roth 5 years after her first attempt... and it went better than she could of imagined. 5 years later she finished with a time of 9:16 and solidified that anything is possible even with a brief stint away from the sport. Jenny likes to lead and coach by example so she continues to race professionally adding daily knowledge to her coaching expertise to what she is learning through training and racing as the sport evolves. She is a seasoned professional in all she does and would love more than anything to give you all she has learnt over the lifetime of sports and adventure.
What motivates you?? I want to look back every decade and have it feel like it was just yesterday. To pave the road with inspiration for those that are inspired to reach their own goals. Whatever it is. To touch a life... if it be but just one by a kind act, a smile, or simple thoughtfulness. To motivate someone to reach their goals of achieving their first 5k, triathlon, swim a little faster, or maybe it’s their 50th marathon. To make the most of each day- Laugh a whole lot more. Watch someone break through on something they have been working so hard at. We have all been there... at the beginning when we decided to do something that almost seemed impossible at first, there is this giddiness inside that says sign me up... and the pursuit is about to be embarked upon. I rise up to meet you there. To encourage you that you can do it. To push you to the next level. That is what motivates me. To have been there. To know that feeling. The dream turned in to reality. It is possible. That is why I decided to coach... because when I had those dreams. Someone was there for me. To believe in me. To guide me. To cheer me on through every training session that no one ever saw. Long before we had social media. The tears. The moments of falling. Being broken. There was always someone there to help me back up. And push me forward. And then came the breakthroughs. The shift in the mind as you cross that finish line acknowledging that YOU DID IT! The satisfaction of knowing all you did to get you there. But you know it wasn’t just you... it took a team. Those are the reasons I am here. Writing this. Because- We are better together~. Run the race with me! Let’s adventure. Life is meant to be shared. What will this next decade look like to you in 10 years when you look back at it? Proverbs 31:25 & 26 She is clothed with strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future. When she speaks her words are wise and she gives instructions with kindness.
